ABOUT US
Too many have needlessly died at Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre and other institutions in Ontario. Far too many more suffer neglect, overcrowding, lack of healthcare, violence and denial of meaningful programs to assist them in rehabilitation and reintegration into society. Inmates are released back on the street worse than when they went in, having been beaten, abused, warehoused and subjected to a culture of fear and violence. The dysfunction cries out for change.
